I am absolutely thrilled with WiseWords! As someone who is interested in philosophy but doesn’t always have the time to delve deep into thick books, this app is a real game-changer. Every day I get a short but incredibly concise lesson from the mindset of a great philosopher – from Plato to Nietzsche to Marcus Aurelius. The lessons are always presented in such a way that they can be understood quickly but still remain profound.
What I particularly like is that the app not only explains the theories of these philosophers, but also gives me concrete examples and applications of how I can implement their thinking in my everyday life. I have started to incorporate simple principles such as the stoic approach to stress or the Socratic method of questioning directly into my daily decisions. This has not only helped me to think more clearly, but also to stay calmer and more focused in stressful situations.
The app is very user-friendly, and I love that I can choose the philosophers at will. There is new, interesting content every day, so I never feel like I’m running out of material. Plus, progress is continually rewarded through daily lessons and small tasks – which motivates me to stay on the ball.

Although you can switch between different days, I recommend following the given order, as the stories unfold in a meaningful, chronological sequence. I find the wisdom meter particularly exciting, as it allows me to measure my personal growth – tracking how much I learn each day and identifying areas where I can and should continue to improve. The quizzes add an extra layer of engagement, helping to test my knowledge and deepen my understanding of philosophy.
